Sambhav Foundation is an NGO of Dr. Meena Jain, an enterprising social activist and a psychologist, working for various causes of children for the past 25 years. Sambhav Mindshare initiative involves helping students in the Uttarahalli Corporation School to learn life-coping skills through a structured self-enrichment programme. The course is designed by Sambhav foundation (http://www.sambhava.net) according to the WHO guidelines.
Dr. Meena trained 20 MindTree volunteers on these life-skills and key points. Volunteers, after obtaining training, must conduct these life-skills sessions
The objective of the programme is to instill confidence in the children about their lives, their future; encourage and assist children to identify their hidden talents, and express themselves. There is a pre-test and post –test survey conducted for these school children. Pre test is conducted to evaluate the level of life skill in the children.Post test is conducted to measure the impact of life skill training. Dr.Meena has shared 2 success stories.
