ADITI-C is an analog-digital interface based on the Theremin principle. It is a computer access switch for Cerebral Palsy-affected children that enables them to type on computers with the help of an on-screen keyboard and hand waves or gestures. It generates the left-click through the USB port.
The device has been built in association with IIT, Chennai and 200 units of ADITI-C have been shipped to the Vidyasagar School in Chennai.
The finger switch is a tactile-based computer access switch for children affected with Cerebral Palsy. It generates left-clicks through a switch attached to the user’s finger, which in turn is connected to the computer through the USB port. The user can type with the help of the on-screen keyboard.
Samples of the finger switch have been shipped to Chetana Foundation, Chennai.
The smiley ball switch is another variant of ADITI-C, and is specially designed for children affected with Cerebral Palsy. The ball is embedded with a switch, which provides computer access when squeezed. It generates left-click through the USB port. Samples of the ball have been shipped to Chetana Foundation, Chennai.
