Mindtree’s CSR initiatives are primarily focused to benefit people with disabilities (PWD), promote education, and create sustainable livelihood opportunities. We are proud that our outreach programs impacted about 32,000 people in 2016-17.
This year saw the Foundation involved in over 20 initiatives in association with 17 NGOs and spread across five states.
We created a robust evaluation process called H-E-A-T ( Hunger – Enforcement – Awareness – Transformation ) for selection of NGOs/project evaluation, project delivery and monitoring as guided by the Company Act 2013, CSR Rules Sec 135. We also developed CSR effectiveness Index that allows us to factor in qualitative measures into our project evaluation, which is highly important while assessing CSR projects of intangible nature. Also, every project is evaluated from many angles, several stakeholder feedback and takeaways.
