Story of Change
Prachi* is a student in class 8 at UPS Kankaha. Prachi’s father, Sunil Kumar, is a farmer, and her mother, Shalu, is a housewife
Prachi refers to herself as “I am a future teacher, but I just need a bit of training."Prachi is very glad that Agastya has stepped into her school. She says, "I feel a huge difference when I am learning or rather just studying from other sources, to having a hands-on experimental approach to the same subject in my Agastya’s science sessions. As I attend these classes regularly, I can understand the topics in-depth, and I am also able to recall them as soon as I want them in a certain situation.”
Prachi says that all these changes came in gradually over a period of time. Teachers regularly conduct regular fun-educational activities that help her stay connected to the subject and build team skills.
