"I regularly volunteer for the health camp initiative at Toopran and Choutuppal in association with HelpAge India, where we assist the elderly in remote villages with little to no access to medical care. Along with my fellow volunteers, I am proud to bridge the gap between these patients and doctors by providing them with medications. Through this volunteering program, I have been able to extend a helping hand and bring about an impact on the lives of the less fortunate. It is delightful to see patients' smiles grow with every passing day. On behalf of every patient we assist regularly, I am immensely thankful to Mindtree Foundation for this opportunity."

“The effect of schools shutting down over two years left a huge gap in learning among students. While the students matured with age, they were not yet ready to learn at grade level. This gap needed to be bridged by enabling the students to acquire Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) competencies through continuous engagement and support. MindTree Foundation joined hands with Sikshana Foundation to work with teachers and help students undergo rigorous FLN practice (aligned with NIPUN Bharat guidelines). Today, we are able to reach out to over 87,000 students (class IV to VII) across 1,769 schools in 3 states to improve their foundational competencies ”

“Our partnership with the Mindtree Foundation started in 2014 and has been instrumental in realising our creative learning vision, benefitting over 72,000 children through programs like Lab-on-a-Bike and the Quiz programs. The lack of access to technology created huge learning gaps, which were exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Home Lab kits, supported by Mindtree in Pune and Hyderabad have helped us bridge these gaps and ensure that children do not lose out on the education they deserve. We are grateful to Mindtree Foundation for their unwavering support in the states of Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh and for reposing faith in the cause of Agastya. We look forward to many more years of fruitful association.”
Mr. Ramji Raghavan, Founder Chairman, Agastya International Foundation
“Mindtree Foundation and National Agro Foundation have worked together to create sustainable and inclusive community development in Mysuru Region for the past year. Through our project, we have reached out to 5 villages and produced tangible benefits for the people and animals. :e have rejuvenated water-bodies, constructed check dams and channels, recharged the groundwater, and increased water availability. This has allowed farmers to cultivate more land and return to their villages, improve the health of the livestock, and bring back migratory birds. We are striving to ensure that all four pillars of sustainable development, viz; Social, Human, Economic, and Environmental, are being met openly and transparently, meeting the community's needs.”
Dr. S.V. Murugan, Director, National Agro Foundation
" COVID has prevented the older people from rural areas from receiving timely cataract surgery. Due to the huge backlog created by this, coordinated action was required to bring up a solution. The majority of outreach screening camps are held in distant locations where it is possible to contact the rural impoverished population. Outreach programs create access to eye care and Aravind Eye Hospital actively involved in this. Without the assistance of organisations like Mindtree Foundation & RCME, we cannot accomplish this aim. We were able to reach out to 7,500 patients and give vision, thanks to the Mindtree Foundation's assistance. We are grateful to the Mindtree Foundation for their wonderful contribution and for working with us to end preventable blindness in our community."
Dr. S. Arvind, Chief Medical Officer, Director – Projects, Aravind Eye Care

Happy communities are the nucleus of a vibrant
society. At LTIMindtree, we are directing our efforts
to building communities which are inclusive and
possess the nurturing spirit that encourages
individual growth within the ambit of collective
development.
The Annual Report of our Mindtree Foundation
highlights our engagements with the community,
while focusing on education, health and well-being,
livelihoods, and environmental sustainability.
As we see it, bringing about social transformation
entails more than providing the things which
communities find useful. That is essential but not
enough. We go the extra mile and empower
individuals to take control of their lives and instill a
sense of ownership and civic responsibility. This
we believe is the key to true sustainability.
Assistance will always remain a one-off,
empowerment is the more durable solution.
Over the years, we have seen the transformative
power of empowerment in action. We have seen
green shoots flower, and have witnessed how small
initiatives can acquire the momentum and deliver the
impact of larger movements. We have also observed
how individuals, when given the opportunity, can
become powerful evangelists of change.
In this edition of our Annual Report on the theme of
"Stories of Change", we offer glimpses of our
eventful journey towards a better tomorrow.
I would like to express my gratitude to our team, our
volunteers, and partners, for their enthusiastic
support and commitment. It has been a remarkable
year of progress and achievements, and we are
committed to doing more and doing it better.
#BeTheGiveR is the ideology that will remain at the
beating heart of our operations, as we give back to
the communities from which we have always drawn
our sustenance.
Debashis Chatterjee
Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director LTIMindtree

If there is one word that summarizes the year gone
by and the collective grit of humankind, it would be
anti-fragility- the ability to grow, evolve and thrive
in difficult times. Businesses and communities alike
demonstrated not only extreme resilience, but also
the ability to become faster, leaner, and bolder in
the face of significant disruption.
We take our commitment to society and the
environment very seriously. We believe that shared
values, equity, empowerment, and enablement
must never be compromised, and should come
together to bolster progress, even when the odds
appear stacked up against them. All of this, backed
by strong governance, ethical practices and
highest levels of integrity can help organizations
clearly translate commitments into positive change
for all stakeholders.
This impact at scale is clearly evidenced in the
strides we have made towards uplifting the
communities we live in. Through focussed
programs aligned with the United Nations
Sustainable Development Goals and led by
Mindtree Foundation in the areas of education,
livelihood, health & wellness and environmental
sustainability, we have been able to successfully
create avenues to enhance dignified and
sustainable livelihoods for underprivileged
sections of our society.
I am proud of the social transformation and
inclusive growth that our committed teams, in
collaboration with our NGO partners, have
delivered, despite challenging times. This report
encapsulates the efforts and stories of real change
that embrace people, planet and profit.
As a people-centric organization, we remain
accountable for the growth and development of
the communities we live and operate in.
Together, let’s secure a brighter, safer planet where
everyone can flourish.
Paneesh Rao
Chief Sustainability Officer, LTIMindtree

We believe that people, business, and communities
are inextricably linked. Taking cognizance of this
interconnection, our endeavor remains to create
lasting impact across the three dimensions through a
systematic and integrated approach to our Corporate
Social Responsibility efforts.
The scale of impact achieved as a result of our
collective efforts has been commendable. In 2023
alone, our social investments have touched more than
1,50,000 lives across the country, making them
beneficiaries and contributors to economic growth.
Our partnership with 24 Non-Government
Organizations has helped mobilize education, digital
literacy, healthcare, environmental sustainability, and
livelihood opportunities among underrepresented
sections of the society. Additionally, we adopted
green technologies and implemented energy
efficiency measures to reduce our overall
environmental footprint.
These stories of impact, resilience, and inspiration
need to be celebrated.
It gives me immense pleasure in presenting to you
the "Stories of Change", a compilation of our journey
and progress toward sustainable growth and
economic development. Through these stories,
we hope to inspire continued social change, one
life at a time.
I extend my gratitude to our NGO partners as well as
the CSR committee, management, volunteers and
our team for their tireless efforts towards
advocating the “equity” quotient in our journey toward a sustainable future.
James Abraham
Chairman, CSR committee and Independent Director, LTIMindtree

It is with great pleasure that I present the Mindtree
Foundation's annual report for 2022 as the Chairman of
LTIMindtree CSR Committee. It has been an exciting and
rewarding journey for us, and we are thrilled to share our
progress with you through "Stories of Change."
As a socially responsible corporate entity, LTIMindtree has
always believed in the power of corporate social
responsibility. We acknowledge that businesses have a
duty to give back to society and create a positive impact
on the communities they serve. Mindtree Foundation has
been our vehicle for embodying this belief.
Over the past year, we have focused on education,
healthcare, livelihoods, and environmental sustainability.
Our education initiatives have primarily focused on
facilitating academic growth in children from under
privileged backgrounds. Our efforts at creating and
implementing models of education is well underway in
several projects.
We have also made significant progress in promoting
healthcare and well-being in the communities we serve.
Through health camps, medical assistance, and awareness
drives on topics such as hygiene, nutrition, and sanitation,
we have worked towards our goal of improving health
outcomes.
As part of our livelihood training programs, we have
focused on a mix of self-employment, entrepreneurship,
and job oriented courses for persons with disabilities as
well as for persons who are deprived of opportunities due
to lack of access to a full lifecycle of education.
In addition, we have undertaken various initiatives to
promote environmental sustainability, including
eco-friendly interventions in the communities we serve
and actively using renewable resource utilization
techniques on the ground.
As we look toward the future, we remain steadfast in our
commitment to creating a sustainable future for all. We
believe that our efforts will benefit the communities we
serve and help us build a better world for generations to
come.

Head - Mindtree Foundation

I am delighted to share the Mindtree Foundation’s
FY2022-23 annual report themed "Stories of
Change". The numerous inspiring stories have
validated the significance of our partnerships with
NGO partners for the greater good. Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR) is integral to realizing
LTIMindtree's vision of "Getting to the future, faster.
Together." We have jointly formulated and executed
several meaningful programs with our NGO partners,
enabling our beneficiaries to access future-oriented
opportunities, services, and infrastructure.
It has been an honor to receive the Mahatma Award
2022 for CSR excellence, recognizing our impactful
contribution towards corporate social responsibility
and creating social impact. Additionally, we were
recognized as the runner-up in the SHRM HR
Excellence Awards 2022 for excellence in community
impact.
I am grateful to our volunteers, business leaders, and
the CSR committee for their unwavering support and
encouragement. The CSR committee's guidance has
enabled us to focus on initiatives that bring about
meaningful change at the village, gram panchayat,
taluk, and district levels. The involvement of
volunteers and business leaders in volunteering
initiatives and field visits has been invaluable in
preserving our long-standing relationships with
beneficiaries and our NGO partners.
The previous year was one of transition, from
grappling with multiple COVID waves to recovering in
the post-COVID era. I am grateful to my team for
working in conjunction with our NGO partners and
multiple internal teams at LTIMindtree to manage this
transition with ease.
We have a unique opportunity to make a difference in
the lives of many and foster a more equitable society.
I am confident that we will continue to strive to
improve the quality of life of communities by bringing
about a positive and lasting impact.
Apurva Purohit

The year 2022-23 has been a year of community
healing and recovery, with the impact of COVID-19
pandemic being slowly reversed from our lives.
Despite the drastic change in our societal fabric,
Mindtree Foundation has remained committed to our
mission of creating a better world through community
development. We have continued to work tirelessly in
our focus areas of education, health and wellness,
livelihoods, and environmental sustainability.
Through our various initiatives and partnerships, we
have been able to reach out to thousands of people in
need and provide them with access to quality basic
resources. Our efforts have made a tangible
difference in the lives of those we have touched,
and we are proud of the work we have accomplished.
In this year's Annual Report, we have highlighted
some of our key achievements, as well as the
challenges we faced and overcame. We have also
included Stories of Change from our work on
the ground, which highlights the impact we have
made in the communities we serve.
As we look ahead, we remain committed to our vision
of creating a better world through community
development. We believe that through collaboration,
hard work, and dedication, we can continue to make a
