Story of Change
Mr. and Mrs. Verma*, aged 90, are regular patients of the Toopran Mobile Health Unit in Telangana. They receive critical care due to their advanced age. However, after observing their poor attendance for two visits, the HelpAge team made a home visit and discovered that Mr. Verma had slipped and fallen at home a week prior, resulting in a minor injury to the femur bone in his right leg. Additionally, he was suffering from diabetes which led to slower recovery. The HelpAge team completed their tasks based on the doctor's recommendations and provided him with the necessary medication.
The family members of Mr. Verma expressed their gratitude towards the LTIMindtree Foundation and HelpAge India for their generous support at their doorstep.
